No ISU employee (whether paid or a volunteer) shall knowingly influence others to furnish the NCAA or an ISU investigator/compliance officer false or misleading information concerning an individuals involvement in or knowledge of matters relevant to a possible violation of an NCAA regulation. Failure to abide by this term of employment shall constitute unethical conduct as defined by the NCAA and may result in immediate suspension and/or termination of the employment relationship with ISU.

Job Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The program director is responsible for all on-air operations of the station. Duties include: 1. Schedule all programs. 2. Monitor to ensure high quality programming standards are maintained throughout the day. 3. Develop and acquire programs, in consultation with station supervisors and appropriate directors. 4. Direct the work of and assist the music director, sports director, and news and public affairs director as needed. 5. Schedule on-air hosts for DJ shifts and ensure the automation logs reflect scheduled content when hosts are not on duty in the control booth. This might include filling in for DJs in emergency situations. 6. Work with the general manager and student station manager to create and maintain a diverse programming schedule that reflects the universitys mission to provide an educational, noncommercial broadcast service while also offering a learning opportunity for student staff members. 7. Work with the student station manager and representatives from the Statesman and Sycamore Video to produce multimedia content for Student Media and related medium-specific content for WISU. 8. Work with all directors to develop relevant and dynamic web content related to station operations. 9. Everything else necessary to assist the student manager and general manager in developing and consistently delivering high-quality noncommercial broadcast programming.
