Position Summary

Responsible for the in-depth profiling of our customer's (and non-customer's) individual, family, and business needs and goals. Recommends investment and insurance products to assist the customer in meeting their goals, while uncovering and referring traditional banking product solutions to the appropriate banking partner.

Essential Requirements

  • Profiles customers personal and financial needs and goals. Completes a minimum number of profiles per month as directed by management.
  • Recognizes customers needs, explains complex products to all types of investors/savers and recommends investment and insurance products solutions to assist the customer in reaching their goals. Activity level and revenue from sales should meet goals established by management.
  • Uncovers, tracks, and refers back opportunities for traditional banking products through profiling efforts.
  • Establishes and maintains a working relationship with clients.
  • Processes, follow-ups, and files all investment product paperwork, activity reports, referral reports, audit and compliance reports on a timely basis.
  • Attends client and team meetings as required.
  • Maintains, acquires, and completes annual continual education on all licenses and designations.
  • Must have valid drivers license.
  • Completes all compliance training related to the position.
  • Experience/Skills

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Detailed knowledge of investment, insurance products and their taxations (especially IRA rules).
  • Knowledge of financial calculators.
  • Strong profiling and selling skills.
  • Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Self-starter, good organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Education

  • Bachelors Degree with concentration in Business/Finance/Economics/Sales or Marketing preferred.
  • Series 7, Series 63, Series 66 or 65, IN Life and Health, LTC and Partner Plan certification required.
